In the staff room there is 7/8 of a cake left over from a meeting. If 14 members of a staff would all like a piece, what fraction of the original cake will they each receive? (Show how you reached your answer)

    Wouldn't it be 1/16?

    If there is 7/8 left, that is 0.875. If you divide 0.875 by 14 people, you get 0.0625 which is 1/16 as a fraction.
