A motor boat is traveling east with a velocity of 7.3 meters/second. It experiences a current of 0.34 meters/second from the east. Find the resultant velocity of the boat and its direction.

    What you need to do is: find the velocity of the boat + flow rate of the current used = net velocity of the boat. The velocity of the boat should be positive and your final answer should be able to give you the direction where the boat is headed.
