Two groups of lilies are geographically isolated from each other but are not yet reproductively isolated. Which term best describes the state of evolution between these two groups of lilies?

    subspecies is a subsection of one species that are differ from main species because of geographic isolation. it is genetically remained same to parental species but have unique features.

    let understand the whole concept. species which can only breed with species having same traits. But if they breed with other species then their offspring is sterile. However if one species are isolated from other due to geographic isolation then left species can take on other physical characteristics which is due to different location.
